The word “bookish” suggests somewhat sedentary pursuits. If you have been involved with or attended the Friends of the Library used book sale, you quickly realize that the stereotype is absolutely not true.

Treasures do exist, and you will find them here…guaranteed!

Books, videos and recordings are donated throughout the year. On the day before the sale, the fire trucks are moved out of the station; books that have been donated throughout the year are moved out of storage and sorted onto tables in the Fire Station. There is a bag sale that can’t be beat at the end of the day.

If you would like to experience a sense of excitement, help out with this event. Inside the Fire Station is where it is at!
