Decadence by Petunia

  1. In a 9 x 13 in. pan with foil, grease sides and bottom of foil. Cover foil with ½ sleeve of saltine crackers.
  2. Melt 2 sticks butter with 1 cup brown sugar. Boil until sugar dissolves. Pour over crackers slowly.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. (Pan will be bubbly).
  4. Sprinkle with 12 oz bag chocolate chips immediately. Let stand 10 minutes. Then spread melted chips with a spatula. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, press to stick. Refrigerate and then bake into pieces. Store cool and dry.
