Fifth Annual Lego Building Contest

Three age groups and a new mechanized category

THURSDAY, JUNE 25

Categories and Times

Age 4-6 - 1pm

Age 7-8 - 1:40 pm

Age 9&up - 2:30 pm

Mechanized, all ages - 2:30 pm

 

Rules

  • To participate, sign up at the library before June 25.
  • This year’s theme is creative inventions. Make up a invention or wacky machine you wish you had in your home. Be crafty, be crazy, but most of all, be creative!
  • Bring your own Legos (or other construction blocks.) All blocks must be completely disassembled at the start of the contest.
  • Designs must be created by the contestant. No predesigned Lego sets.
  • Each contestant will be given a 2’ x 3’ area on which to work.
  • One contestant per Lego project; no teams.
  • First, second and third place prizes will be awarded at the end of each group, and winners will be judged on most creative use of the invention theme.
