Library Building Closed

Out of concern for our community, and in compliance with our state's Safer at Home order, our building is closed until futher notice. Our bookdrops are also closed.  Keep all materials please. We are continuing to serve you with online materials and resources.

If you have questions about anything, please email us!

Staff are keeping up with emails and would be happy to help in anyway we can.

We are working hard to keep our community safe. South Central Library Service has suspended all delivery at this time. We understand that it is hard to not have books, movies and other materials during this time, but by not tranferring materials we are helping stop the spread of the coronovirus. Please know that this is very hard for us. We miss you and want to serve you. We really want to open our doors, but your safety is our top priority right now.

Governor Evers has issued a Safer At Home Health Order lasting until April 24, 2020.   (More Information on this order here.)  This may be extended. At this time, our library will remain closed until further notice. Fines will be waived during this time and we will work with you regarding your holds. (Don't worry - they won't get sent back.) You might receive overdue notices, but feel free to ignore them. All due dates have been changed to May 1 for now. This might also change as we move forward.

We will be posting online storytimes and other activities. We are exploring other options to connect with you as well.

There are also online options and apps that you can utilize with your library card! Libby and hoopla are great, free options.  Libby is an app (by Overdrive) that allows you to download audiobooks and ebooks to your devices. (If you have used Overdrive, Libby is basically the same, but is easier to use on devices.) Simply use your app store to download Libby and start exploring. The hoopla app/website is similar, but offers movies and TV series along with audio and e books -- all with no wait times for items! (Note: You are limited to four items a month with hoopla.) By using these services, you don't have to be without a book or movie. :-)

We will keep you updated as we navigate through this rapidly evolving time. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.
