Library Building Closed

Our building remains closed until futher notice.

We are providing Curbside (Drive Up) service! Read details and instructions here.

Due Dates/Fines:
Materials checked out via Drive Up currently show a due date of June 1, 2020.  However, we will not charge fines for the month of June and are working with the South Central Library System on changing the due dates to show as July 1. This will take some time though. Please know you will not accrue any fines in June. Due dates for items checked out before our building closed have been extended to July 1, 2020.

Limited Return Hours:
You may return items in our drive up book drops during the following hours: ( Do not use the Drive Up Window for any returns.)

  • Mondays,  9:30am-4:30pm.
  • Thursdays, 9:30am-4:30pm.

Please note: We are unable to sanitize the book drop handles between each person. Please take precautions. If you do not feel safe returning items, it's okay. Current due dates have been extended and you will not accrue fines during this time.  Also, we are not able to check items in for at least 72 hours from when you put them in the book drop. Please don't be alarmed if you notice they are still on your account for a few days. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will be adjusting these times moving forward. The most current information will be posted on this website.

If you have questions about anything, please email us! .  Staff are keeping up with emails and would be happy to help in anyway we can.

We are working hard to keep our community safe. South Central Library Service has extremely limited delivery. We understand that it is hard to not have books, movies and other materials during this time, but by not transferring materials we are helping stop the spread of the coronavirus. Please know that this is very hard for us. We miss you and want to serve you. We really want to open our doors, but safety is our top priority right now.

There are online options and apps that you can utilize with your library card! Libby and hoopla are great, free options.  Libby is an app (by Overdrive) that allows you to download audiobooks and ebooks to your devices. (If you have used Overdrive, Libby is basically the same, but is easier to use on devices.) Simply use your app store to download Libby and start exploring. The hoopla app/website is similar, but offers movies and TV series along with audio and e books -- all with no wait times for items! (Note: You are limited to six items a month with hoopla.) By using these services, you don't have to be without a book or movie. :-)

We will keep you updated as we navigate through this rapidly evolving time. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.
