Get ready for a fast-paced, engaging, and educational presentation that will leave you in awe of the principles of physics. (Think smoke rings, mini explosions, etc...) Haddie McLean brings equipment from the Department of Physics at UW–Madison to demonstrate how science works. You’ll have fun and leave with a better understanding of the physics in the world around you!
Haddie McLean is a UW–Madison alum with a B.S. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. She joined the Physics Department in August 2021 after a 20+ year career as a meteorologist at WISC-TV in Madison.
Part of our new Discovery Series. This program is geared towards adults because adults deserve awe, wonder and play in their lives, too!
