Monday, April 6, 13, 20, 27 @ 10 am
Join us for a special time to bond with your little one and meet other caregivers. We will explore the joys of books and songs while building early learning skills you can practice at home. Come prepared to sit with your child on your lap. For children who are not yet walking confidently. This program runs for 20-25 minutes with time for play and socialization afterwards.
(We'll do our best to run on baby time, so come early/come late/come whenever you can get here!)
Thursdays, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 10:00-10:30 am
Toddlers and their grown ups are invited to join us at the library for some joyful movement with instructor LeeAnn Jakel. Please bring a towel or a yoga mat if you would like to use one. Recommended for ages 2-6; siblings and childcare groups are welcome.

Join us for a special family storytime celebrating the awesome grown‑ups who make kids’ lives sweet, complete with stories, songs, and plenty of giggles. Enjoy free donuts together and activities that invite caregivers and kids to connect and play.
The content is geared towards young children and includes readalouds, songs, and an activity. Feel free to just show up, registration is not required. This program runs approximately 30 minutes.

Enjoy a variety of yard games outside on the library lawn, weather permitting.
Thursday, May 21, 10:00-10:45 pm
Three musicians from the Utka Ensemble (oboe, violin, and keyboard) and a narrator, will share a musical presentation of a children’s storybook. Performers will introduce themselves and their instruments and then share a performance of the story with accompanying music. All ages welcome! Sponsored by Beyond the Page.
Apply today to become a Summer Library Volunteer! Open to ages 11-17. Volunteers must be entering grades 6-12 as of Fall 2026 to receive consideration.
Possible duties:
- Help with registration for programs and the reading challenge, includes working directly with families and kids.
- Help prepare craft projects and other hands-on prep work.
- Help run the SLP Prize store. Assist with family programming (example: Lego Contest, Garden Club, etc.)
- Must be able to volunteer for 10 or more hours over the course of the summer and attend orientation meeting on Monday, June 8th at 4pm.
Applications due May 29. If selected from the applicant pool, you will be contacted by the Youth Services librarian to schedule an interview. Not every applicant will be invited to interview. Schedule compatibility and reliable transportation will be considered. Thank you for your interest!
