Reach Out & Read:
"Reach Out & Read" is an alternate Summer Reading Challenge to make an impact with your reading. For each hour you read, you will earn $0.50 to be donated to a local non-profit. Open to ages 6-18.
At the end of the summer, library staff will count all the hours read and the total amount up to $500 will be donated to Mount Horeb Neighbors Helping Neighbors. You may participate in both the reading challenge with prizes and Reach Out & Read, but an hour of reading does not count for both programs. You must track your time separately. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. (Please come to the library starting June 8 to pick up your reading tracker.)
