For children and their caregivers. Celebrate stories as we share books, rhymes, music and movement in a format appropriate for young children. This program runs approximately 30 minutes. Featuring local educator Angelíca Oses.

Participants will learn to make colorful, healthy dishes in a fun and interactive class led by Chef Lily, The Kids Chef. Open to kids ages 9-14, please register to claim your spot (registration opens June 9).
Tuesdays June 24, July 8 & July 29, 2:00-2:45 pm
We'll snack, talk about great books you're reading and end with an activity. Pick up your copy of the (optional) group read at the front desk of the library and come to book club ready to chat about the book! Open to readers ages 9-12.

Who knows the MOST about children’s books? Sign up as an individual or with your team (Registration opens June 9.)
What?
- A trivia competition to see who knows the most about children's books.
- Participants work in teams of 3 or more players.
- Recommended player age of 7+
- The competition will last 60 minutes with a comfort break in the middle.
How?
- Register your team.
- Questions will come from a range of board books, picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, middle grade fiction and non-fiction published within the last 100 years.
- Practice asking each other questions at home (all questions are in multiple-choice format: In what book does a boy find out he is the son of powerful wizards? A. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, B. The Phantom Tollbooth, C. The Wizard of Oz, D. The Lightning Thief).
Why?
- To gamify the love of reading. We encourage playing with your books!
- To encourage participants to read books they might not have chosen.
- To have fun and meet others who enjoy reading for pleasure.

We have collections of books and audio for children ages birth-18, learning kits and busy boxes on a variety of subjects.
