Here to Help Booklists

For life’s big and small moments, your library staff have created Here to Help booklists to provide information and support in navigating life experiences. Reading together can create opportunities for connection and conversation.

The librarians are also here to help, with suggestions for additional titles on topics of interest, or community information and resources. New books are always being added to the collection. If you’re looking for more book suggestions, we’re happy to recommend them to you! Email the library at mhpl [at] mounthorebwi.info (mhpl[at]mounthorebwi[dot]info) or use this Book Request form and we’ll curate a list just for you.

The Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, also addresses sensitive situations in their Tough Topics booklists for grade K-8.
