Limited Services June 28 - July 1

The Mount Horeb Public Library is part of a robust library system which gives you access to items from over 50 libraries, and also powers our internet, computers, wi-fi and databases. This entity, the South Central Library System, contributes a wealth of resources to our community. Due to growth and space needs, they are moving their headquarters. This means our library will temporarily lose most of their offerings while they transfer to their new building. From Wednesday, June 28th through Saturday, July 1st, we will be open with very limited services. We ask for your patience as we will only be able to check items out and in via the power of two mobile hotspot units.

The following library services will NOT be available:
· Computers in the computer lab; laptops
· Printing
· Mobile printing
· WiFi
· Self-checkouts
· Credit card payments through LinkCat
· Ancestry.com, Consumer Reports Online

However, if patrons have a separate internet connection they may still have access to the following services from home:
· LinkCat and the LinkCat Mobile App
· Libby
· Hoopla

If you need to reach us during the outage, it will be best to give us a call at 608-437-5021 as we will have limited email access. During the outage, we would appreciate it if you would refrain from returning library materials. (Remember, we don't have overdue fines! Now is the time to finish up that Lucky Day book!) If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at 608-437-5021.
